Our Middle & Upper School students have a choice from a broad range of clubs and activities that allow them to explore their interests and passions and learn more skills.
Our Lower School students have a variety of after-school enrichment programs that they can sign up for. Some of these run all year long and others are per semester.

The National Junior Honor Society serves to honor students who demonstrate excellence in the areas of school, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Each year NJHS works to hold fund-raisers benefitting different non-profits or other organizations. Some examples are our dodgeball tournament that helps raise cans for the local food bank, Scholastic 300 where we help to purchase books for classrooms, and we raise money for Team Seas where we work to clean up our oceans. Additionally, members are expected to maintain a 3.7 GPA and acquire at least 10 hours of community service per semester.
Sports Documentary Club explores the stories behind students’ favorite sports, teams, and athletes.
Student government (STUGO) is a student-elected and student-run organization representing the entire student body. From the various fundraisers we organize to the day-to-day interactions, STUGO provides a way to bring students together through school events and opportunities that provide an environment that promotes collaboration. Our STUGO leaders strive to lead by example in academics, extra-curricular activities, community service, school spirit, and student events.
A study hall offering essential time that students need to complete class work including homework, missing/late assignments, and making sure they set themselves up for success in their academics.

Students enjoy reading their favorite books and when the weather permits, they do so outdoors in the beautiful Arizona weather.
All levels are welcome, but students must be currently enrolled in an RSPS dance class to participate.

Students act on issues that matter to them and discover how a commitment to service could lead to exciting scholarship opportunities and community grants. Members participate in volunteer campaigns and civic actions that make a meaningful impact on the causes they care about. Some initiatives this year include a Voter Registration Drive, Smiles for Seniors, Teens for Jeans, Generation Rancho, and Inspirational Bulletin Boards.

Students must have some dance experience, at least a beginner’s level, but students do not have to be enrolled in a dance course to participate.
The Life Project for Youth Club is dedicated to empowering young women in Bangladesh by equipping them with the skills they need to enter the workforce and support their families. The program offers training in various business fields, resume writing, and interview techniques, along with English language lessons. Our club’s primary goals are to raise funds for the nonprofit organization to ensure its continued success and to organize English conversation classes to enhance the participants’ language skills. Club members will also receive certification for their volunteer hours, making it a mutually beneficial experience.
Model UN is an academic team that competes in collegiate conferences. Do you have an interest in foreign policy or diplomacy? Would you like to meet people who care about important global issues, that actually know what they are talking about? Are there skills you would like to hone, especially research, writing, public speaking, and negotiating? No matter what skill level you bring with you, we will train you and help you succeed. Model UN simulations engage hundreds of thousands of students each year, helping them to learn more about the principles of the UN and how it functions.
Mu Alpha Theta is a National Mathematics Honor Society whose goal is to inspire a keen interest in mathematics, develop strong scholarship in the subject and promote the enjoyment of mathematics among high school students.

The Stang Gang is the official student section for all Rancho Solano athletic events.
The goal of the Stang Gang is to support our student-athletes by attending games and creating an environment of school pride and spirit. Through our support we teach leadership, unity, organization, and a sense of pride in being a part of the Mustang Family!
Welcoming Mustangs of all backgrounds! The purpose of this group is to share traditions, foods, arts, and ways of life from around the world to build understanding and inclusivity. Activities focus on behind the scenes planning and leadership roles in preparation for International Day! Culture Club students celebrate global community on campus, tapping into personal backgrounds and curiosity about the world. After all – our differences make us stronger.

The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is a program for high school students in grades 9–12 that recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional interest and ability in art. The NAHS was started in 1978 by the National Art Educator Association to help students achieve high standards in art scholarship, character, and service. The program also aims to bring art education to the attention of the school and community.
Benefits of participating in the NAHS include: Peer recognition, Leadership growth opportunities, College and career preparation, Recognition of your art program, and Scholarship opportunities for graduating high school students who are pursuing a design degree.
Students must meet the following eligibility criteria for membership:
- Being in grades 9–12
- Having taken at least one semester of high school art
Having a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in all art classes

National Honor Society (NHS) membership has been the true mark of student achievement for over 100 years, but it goes far beyond a report card. By empowering, championing, and recognizing well-rounded students, NHS provides schools with a values-based framework to elevate a culture of scholarship, service, leadership, and character.
The Peer Advocacy Club goal is to have students take an active role in creating a safe and inclusive environment for all students at Rancho. Students will take the lead on Suicide Awareness Month, Domestic Violence Month and Zero Discrimination Day. Students will work to empower, educate and advocate for others.
This club produces two publications. Pegasus is the award-winning literary magazine of Rancho Solano Preparatory School. It comes out in print form once a year and is run by a team of student editors. We publish poetry, prose, drama and visual art in all mediums.
Pegasus Monthly is the MS/US newspaper and is released once a month in digital form. This publication covers arts, academics and athletics. Students learn how to meet deadlines, interview their peers and teachers, write clearly and how to celebrate the accomplishments of the amazing student body.

The pre-med club is designed for students to gather insight into the world of the medical field. Not only is it based on a specialty for a doctor, but it includes pharmaceuticals, physician assistants, and nursing. Guest speakers attend throughout the year and there are activities such as suture labs. Students are encouraged to dig deeper into their field of choice. |
(NOT A CLUB) Science Olympiad is the competitive team for the Arizona Science Olympiad. The team attends competitions where they enter multiple events within the fields of STEM, and compete against other schools with engineering challenges, knowledge tests, and scientific experimentation.
