Rancho Solano Preparatory School

The Counseling Department at Rancho Solano Preparatory School is in constant communication with administration and faculty.  We also interact with students grades 6-12 and parents to help provide the optimal educational experience.

College Counseling

Our college counseling is customized for each unique student in the Rancho Solano Preparatory School family.

With regularly scheduled meetings with the student as well as their parents, we initiate the right conversation with the critically important questions that help determine the colleges that are right for you.

Rancho Solano students are actively recruited by and succeeding at their top-choice universities such as Harvard, Princeton, Brown, Pepperdine, UCLA and honors programs at Arizona State University and the University of Arizona.

School Guidance Program

The three major areas of focus in our School Guidance Program are academic achievement, personal and social development, and career exploration.

Our School Guidance Counselor serves students in the following capacities:

  • Student Advocate
  • Individual, Group, & Crisis Counselor
  • Refers students to community professionals
  • Liaison between teachers, administrators, students, and parents
  • Provides tutoring information
  • Provides support to new students transitioning to the school
